I'm basing my guess on the downloadable MacMini manual at:

http://www.apple.com/support/manuals/

is called MacMini (original) user guide, which implies there's a newer, non-original, model somewhere.

Either that or they planned ahead when they posted the manual in the first place so that they wouldn't have to change the name whenever they get around to updating the Mac Mini.

I think it's just going to me the RAM 512 standard.

There was a rumour posted several weeks back about Apple upgrading the RAM in all it's machines to 512mb. But the specs for Tiger list 256mb as the minimum so now i'm not sure if it will happen.
