Me again -

Still looking to trade my iMac. It's a G5 1.8ghz 17" with 768mb RAM (512mb Crucial added).

I'm going back to school, so I am looking for a laptop more than a mini like I was before.

Looking for a newish iBook 12", either a 1.2ghz or a 1ghz with AE and BT installed; OR a 12" or 15" PowerBook, 1ghz or faster. I'm not very keen on the 14" iBooks, but if the offer was good, I'd go for it. The more RAM the better of course, and I am interested in 'paying' extra for systems with software like VPC, Office, iWork, etc., as well as for cases, desktop stands, and external harddrives.

If the traded system is an iBook, I'd expect cash (brand new 12" iBooks are under a grand), or an external LCD (17"+), lots of 'goodies' or a combo thereof.

I'd be willing to go even trade on a nice PB, especially on a 15". I don't have any cash at the moment, so it has to be even or cash my way. I can throw in my only Mac game, World of Warcraft, though! (No time with work and starting school now :( )

No AP or BT. All 1.8ghz iMacs have a SD, 80gb HD, 10/100 ethernet, modem, USB2, FW400. You can see the full specs here (http://www.apple.com/imac/specs.html). Mine is stock, with the exception of the added RAM, 768mb total.

Thanks for the interest!

Wanted to add that I could include a mini-VGA to VGA adaptor to attach an external display if you needed it as well. I think those are about $10-15 new, and this one was bought with the iMac about 6 weeks ago.

Should have mentioned that. The iMac has AppleCare until March of 2006. I could add extended AppleCare at the EDU rate ($119 plus tax - I think) for additional trades or cash.

Hi again - I've several offers for Powerbook trades, but nothing final so far... I would like to say that I would REALLY REALLY like to trade for a 12" iBook 1.2ghz (the most current model) + about $400. (I see the new iBooks going for under $800 used right now, and iMac's like mine for around $1200, so seems pretty fair).

That would be ideal for me, so let's see what we can do!

Thanks for all the interest so far.

Rob

Are you in the Chicago area? I'm just wondering. I have a 12" PB, 1.33GHz, combo, 60GB hard drive, I may like to trade. Thanks.

I'm about 4 hours from Chicago, in mid Michigan. I am willing to drive halfway, which is in the very southwestern corner of MI, on Lake Michigan...

PM me if you can go halfway, and we can see what we can work out.
