Pulled from a mini hoping they would work in my camera's with no luck. I'll sell em cheap too. I would like 175 each shipped. They can be used to hold files but cannot be used directly with my camera

Could you elaborate on the connectors that these drives have as you are selling them:
Do they have the complete Compact Flash housing and connector? Or a Ribbon connector?
You say they can hold files; to what machines or interfaces could they be attached?

They are standard Microdrive's will fit in a cfII slot and work with any computer but not with a camera.

They are standard Microdrive's will fit in a cfII slot and work with any computer but not with a camera.
This means that they will work with a computer that has a Compact Flash Type II Card reader attached, or in a CF-PCMCIA adaptor in a computer with a PCMCIA slot, n'est-ce pas?
Have you tested them in a CF reader on a computer?
I'm not bustin' your chops here, I'm only trying to clarify just what the sale items are and how they can be used, (other than in a Mini, and not in a camera, which you have already established).
Edit: The probable reason that they don't work in the camera(s) you tried is that the camera(s) only support FAT-16 formatting. To address a Compact Flash card of 4 Gb and up, the card has to be formatted FAT-32, and if the camera doesn't have FAT-32 support built in, the card/drive will be unrecognizable.

Yes, if your computer has an conection with a CFII adapter it will work like a standard plug and play hard drive. I've used them on my Moms Hell (DELL) and my g5 with no problems
