It seems the Japanese word s h i t a is too close to a profane word in English, and the profanity filters have just said no.

You're not to blame. It's just copy and paste. The filter picks it up.
If need be, you can replace the "i" with this: !
But only do it for company names, such as the most recent one being discussed.
Or you can leave the censor alone, and we can assume a few words that may belong there. :D :eek: :p

Not your fault that Matsushîta is a bad word in the US.
But most people can ferret out the words censored by the language filter.

But I would not try to purposely get around the word censor, as arn has made a big deal out of it. Site News > Word Censor

the last 2 will work, but they shouldn't be used except if you want them in japanese words :D.
