Happy Birthday, Mohan! (http://forums.macrumors.com/member.php?u=27479)

(But I suspect you're not actually 68 as the b'day list seems to think)

One of my fave posters here. Always has something witty and thoughtful to say... hope you have a fab day! (Although you're prob. still asleep as I write this.)

Do tell us of your plans for today and any interesting or neat pressies you may have received.

Best wishes and all the best...

Awwwwww, thank you! :D And, erm, no! :D I wonder how it thinks that. I will have to go and check.

My plans aren't super impressive yet...a lot of my friends in my school program are away for a week, because we start practicuum this summer and will not have many breaks for the next few years. I think we may have a party for me and a couple of others in a week when everyone gets back.

But last night, I did go out dancing with friends, past midnight, so I got the drunk happy birthday rendition around one in the morning! :D And, erm...fell asleep on the couch, apparently while playing with spotlight :o and knocked my iBook over the side of the couch. :( It seems to be OK except I've bent up the collar on the power plug. Nothing I think I can't fix if I can find my pliers, though! :D

But, I did get myself two amazing birthday presents yesterday...Tiger and a Digital Rebel! :)

And thanks SM too! :)

The best birthday presents are the ones you buy for yourself.
I expect to see your new efforts in the photo-gallery soon...

Have a good one! :D

Hehehe...thanks! And mostly, yes. :) But some little annoyances have me wanting another hangover now. Mail took a lot of hand-holding to get back to its original state, although I think it's there now. Also when I finished installing everything, I did my maintenance script (cron tasks, permissions, prebindings, software update, shutdown), and when I rebooted, a bunch of icons had disappeared from my dock. Hopefully all of this will seat in and go smoothly. Mail seems to be working flawlessly now. :)

I have a card sitting here for a friend who will be 30 next week.

No longer a reckless youth...
... now a youthless wreck

:D He was as cruel when I turned 30!

Nice! When I die, I want them to put me in my casket face down, so that at the funeral, all the critics can come up and kiss my ***. ;)

Well, harrumph, according to Dr. Q's thread (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=92519), there is still a little shelf that I'm standing on precariously, before I tumble into oblivion. :)

EDIT:....well, I'm *finally* going out to have some fun. But thanks again, so much, you guys! I love the fact that I got to spend a good part of my birthday trading Tiger stuff with y'all. I'm needy enough to need lots of families, so I'm glad MR is one of them. :D
