See President Bush kill old woman! (http://www.democrats.org/social_insecurity/) (uses Flash)
Republicans are in an uproar over this new Democratic Party ad showing what Bush and Republicans will do to Social Security if we re-elect more Republicans to Congress this November.
I wonder if the web artist used a Mac?

You've never seen a Republican cartoon bashing Democrats?!?!? Democrats and Republicans have been bashing the hell out of each other since the days of horses and buggies. It definitely goes both ways.
I'm actually running for president in 2004. My plan is to end this nonstop childish bickering between parties by having every current member of the two major parties currently holding office arrested and then shot. I will put an end to the arguing by crushing my opposition and solidifying my position as Supreme High Commander For Life of the United States (SHCFLUS). The ineffectual bureaucratic minutia of local and state government will be controlled by various peons appointed by myself and by my vice-SHCFLUS, Buckethead, of the newly re-formed Guns 'n' Roses. In accordance with this, the current national anthem will be replaced by "Welcome to the Jungle." Most of the current governmental departments at the federal level will be eliminated. Plans are in place for a new Department of Blowing People's Heads Clean Off headed by Ted Nugent; a Department of Killing All Nu-Metalers headed by John Lydon; and a Department of Totally ****in' Mega Hallucinogenics headed by Keith Richards.
I've actually gotten a bit carried away here, but if my platform doesn't sound appealing yet, it would be best to keep that to yourself, as I'll be sure not to forget your name when it comes to the first round of purges! Did I mention all PCs will be outlawed, and Bill Gates will be suspended naked over Times Square and given a non-anesthesized vasectomy by aggressive robots with dull surgical knives?

Hey I know this is a little on topic but I'll try it anyway. :D
A) I thought that flash was hilarious.
B) I support allowing people to do what they wish with there social security funds within certain boundaries. I personally am young enough that I do not expect to ever see my social secrurity unless there is something done about it. Let the people make there own decissions. I'm sick of the this father knows best government that wants to hold our hands and tell us that we don't know what want or what we're doing.
There I said it it's done. Now the thread can go back off topic.
Bush is a______.
He is the man I voted for and a two faced liar I wish I hadn't voted for. Though I would not have voted for Gore either. Bush was kind of the lesser of two evils. I will never again vote the tie breaker I will only vote for the person I really believe is the man I want to lead my country no matter how likely he is to be elected.

Well, with the terrorism threats we have today, the CIA is authorized and expected to do whatever they deem necessary to prevent it. I heard something where every phone is monitered by a computer looking for keywords. If you say a certain word or combination of words the computer reports you to the CIA or FBI or some authority. You are then monitered full time as being "suspicious". This is freaky, but probably necessary.

This has supposedly been going on for a long time. So what the plan is, if America wants it's freedom back all it has to do is every American that makes a phone call say something like kilo or nuke or cocaine etc.. This will overload the system and force them to quit using this method.

Kross. The reason that the republicans are in an uproar is because the Dems are doing their typical mediscare and socialscare stactis with the old people. Fact is the old people in this country hold the majority of the wealth. Fact is that they take more of my money and put into social security than they take in Federal Income Tax. Money that I will never see. Money that I have worked for, money that should be MINE! Bush is proposing allowing us to have control of 2% of our money to invest as we see fit. Why don't the dems want that? It would allow us to invest in out economy. Gee, could that help things right now? It would also remove them from the equation. They would not be able to scare old people with their tired lies any longer, because the old people would have the money in THEIR name, in THEIR accounts.
See the fundamental difference between republican and democrat is that republicans say believe in yourself and work hard and you can get somewhere. Democrats say give us your money and we will give you government programs out the rear and we know better than you do as to what to do with your money.
IT IS CRAP! Tara and I do not qualify for state assistance for child care because I make to much money. See they did not add our daughters day care cost at the University on time. Now we have to come up with 300 bucks or they kick her out. Well, the state helps people like that. But we make too much money. Yea, I make 30,000$ a year right now. I support my wife and child. I put my wife through college at the University of Alabama. You know what the people said. If we had three kids, or if I only made 20,000 a year, then they would help.
See, state and federal programs encourage people to fail. They encourage people to settle for being a slave to the Democratic party and their lies!

How bout the Attorny General's Office?
1) The state of Oregen 3 times voted to keep the "mercy killing" law. This allows a doctor assisted suicide for terminally ill, and suffering patients. Gen. A$$Crap in his rightous indignation found he couldn't do anything to defeat the law itself, however he has stated that the Federal Government will procucute the doctor that preforms the assisted suicide, and remove their medical license.
2) The state of California has upheld a law that allows the legal use of Mary Jane for medicinal puposes. Gen. A$$Crap has ordered DEA agents to "raid" these legal establishments. Leaving some in California considering using the States National Guard, to guard these establishments.
Repbulicans=State's Rights, but only if they agree with thier "moral" values.
Republicans=Against Unionization. While unions are not perfect. Without them, as has been said before, we might still be sending 12 yr olds into coal mines, out of coorporate concentration camps.

Governor of California but also hardcore Republican who together with his British friend Thatcher went on a rampage dismantling the social state for an uncontrolled and unregulated market economy. I highly recommend reading the book 'The Silent Takeover' by Noreena Hertz (University of Cambridge) on that subject.
What is really sad is that Americans don't really have a choice to choose their Government. It is basically two big clans, and their policy is very simillar once they are in power. Where is the choice ? What do you vote when both candidates are muppets ? How can this be called a democracy ?
As for people whining about how unfair it is that they have to pay more money into a system that they will ever receive back: well, how do you know ? What if you get seriously injured and cannot work anymore ? What if nobody can give you a job (for whatever reason) ? I have said this before: this is not an ideal world, not everyone has the same chances/opportunities, failing economically does not have to come from lazyness...

Thanks for the book tip.
I think there is still a chance for Democracy if for once voters would educate themselves and use some reason when voting rather then just voting for a) there party or b) who ever looks the most likely to win. People don't want to vote for someone who is obviously a winner. For some reason they feel they are throwing there vote away when in reality they are throwing they're vote away by choosing an obvious winner.
I have said that it upsets me that I pay so much in to Social Security because I don't think I'll ever get to see it. You also have some valid points about disability. My main point is that I want to be able to choose where it is invested so that I have the money in my name and out of the Governments ever greedy/needy hands.

The Democrat Party has no plans for Medicare or Social Security reform. Both of them are heading for a crisis. They need to be fixed soon, prior retirement of baby boomers! Trying to use fear tatics doesn't WK. I ask both parties to work together, Bipartisan. The Commission that Bush setup has opioned alot of suggestions! :)

Personally, I think that if you can't plan, and make it on your own, tough titty. I have made it on my own! Why should I have to pay for old people, or others out there? That should not be my obligation through my government. Though my church or my own accord. Yes, but my government forcing me and taking my money to fund those who choose not to fund themselves. Theft. Plain and simple.

Good Conservative sentiment. But since the government has forced us to pay into the system, we are due a return. Partial privitization of Social Security is a start!
