Quick question:
I love how the control panel resizes itself dynamically to the content contained within. Is there a way to get the finder to do so as well? I feel like I'm constantly hitting that green button to get the window to adjust to the content. Suggestions?

Ahhh! I didn't know the green button did that! Cool!

I do prefer column view... it's very nice once you get used to it. I have mine resized to 4 panes wide, but vertically shrunk so that it doesn't take up as much screen space.

how does one go about applying one view to all windows? I've got a bunch of folders that always open up in column view, and since I need to sort things pretty frequently I want to get rid of that...

Go to the window, and go to the View menu. Then, go to View Options, click All Windows, and set the settings you want. Now, all you have t do is as you continue using your computer, just go to view options for each window you go to and change it from This Window Only to All Windows.

Hope that helps.

Sorry, there is none right now...

You can check by going to the Window menu in any app...there's a "Zoom Window" option, but no keyboard shortcut.
