There is good chnce that everyone knows this, but I will state the obvious anyway. I remeber a rumor about Apple buying the domain name iphone.org, but I have never checked it out. The point is that if you go to http://www.iphone.org you get Apple's home page. It's not a redirect, it's just that apple.com and iphone.org have the same homepage. Is this interesting to anyone besides me?

Its just the same index file, its just easy if not easier to do than make a redirect, its not too weird.

yep. everyone knows it. it's been talked about many times before... just search the forums for 'iphone'.. I'm sure you'll get plenty of hits... enjoy :)

Do a whois on iphone.com and you can clearly see it is NOT owned by apple. Someone was just trying to be funny. I didn't laugh.

its not iphone.com its iphone.org
