I found an Apple eMate 300 on eBay with a buy now price of $44.95, and it is supposed to work the only thing missing is the A/C adapter, and it may need a new battery. Is that a good deal? Also, does anyone know what a newton a/c adapter costs and where to get one?

if it has one of those round plugs, then all it would require is a trip to radio shack to match it

Ask yourself if you really want an eMate. I have one, and it's practically useless. My 10 year old palm pilot can do more than it, and I got that for 5 dollars at a tag sale.

Remeber that eMates and Newtons are very different...

I'm looking at it as more of a collector(to go with all my old Macs). I already have a regular PDA I don't use.
