Planning on selling my Powermac, how do I go about transferring the standard one year warranty to the new owner?

GIve apple UK a call and they will sort out the transfer for you,

I'm pretty sure though that if I purchased a 6 month old ibook for example off an eBay seller, I'd be entitled to a repair if it broke at the tenth month.

They just check the serials against the manufacturing dates I presume. Correct me if I'm wrong though.
