Apple.com shipping times

I was just wondering if anyone had any views why all the Apple hardware on Apple.com is up to 1-2 day shipping when it is normally same business day? Is it just a change in policy to stop people complaining if their order dispatches late, or is it something else?

it has been always be like that 1-2 days i don't see the different.

yeah i noticed it too. On the ibooks it makes sense sense tuesday is in two days, and thats when they will be hopefully updated. They might be a little behind on hardware with tiger.

Usually before an update it goes to 3-5 or 5-7 days right?
