Xbox 360 US release?

I just downloaded a widget that counts down to the Xbox 360's release date. It says it's 86 days away.....but I just wanted to know what the official release date is, according to Microsoft. I can't find one anywhere, so am I to assume this widget is speculative?

It's speculative... they haven't announced a release date yet. Besides, 86 days is WAY too soon, since as of right now, that would be August 27th, and Microsoft said something like November.
