Has somebody received a call from Apple in Europe?

I read today that Apple in the US had phoned them and offered them discounts if they had placed a computer in the cart and kept it there for 10 days or so, without finishing the order.

I´m just curious if anyone has received such calls from Apple in Europe? :p

I was wondering about this too.

A few people have posted on here that they have received calls from Apple asking why they didn't go through with their purchase - I have not had any such calls and yet frequently keep items in a basket just to see how much the total is, and drool over them for a couple of days until they bring somthing new out.

I got a call form Apple awhile ago - maybe in November or December about an iBook I left in my cart. Basically I explained that I wanted to wait out for Tiger and possible updates. As it turned out, I went for the Mac mini in January soon after they were announced.
