i was wondering how i can put up an avatar picture, it doesnt allow me to because there is no upload option...

is it because im a member and not a regular?

First one of these in awhile...

Read the FAQ (http://forums.macrumors.com/faq.php?faq=vb_faq#faq_new_faq_item) and it will tell you that you need to have 500 posts to earn an avatar.
