Can anyone recommend a beginner's book for learning Quark 5? I pref the hands on type of books for learning.
Any suggestions greatly appreciate!

Any from PeachPit Press are great. They even have a Visual Quickstart Guide for XPress 5.

Their books come in:

beginner: Visual QuickStart Guide
intermediate: RealWorld
expert: Wow!
