in two years all mac will swith to intel chips..
so u guys think will apple boarder to upgrade the current powerbook?
sorry to bring you guys this kind of stupid powerbook upgrade question..
wanna get a 17"..is expansive so i need you guys opinon...

If you need it now, get it now. The PowerBooks of 2006/7 will be faster than today's PowerBooks irrespective of the type of processor under the hood. The longer you wait, the faster the machine will be that you buy but the longer you will go without a machine in the meantime.

Personally, I'd get one now. :)
