It seems that Pismos still look so good that people are convinced they are the hottest newest thing out of Apple. :p

I don't ever see a G5 Powerbook happening. I think a G5 would require a different design just for cooling and with Intel Powerbooks on the horizon. It wouldn't make much sense to redesign a product when a totally new product is due out in the next 8 months or so. My guess is we only see one more revision to the G4 Powerbooks in the next 3 months or so and that's it. I think Apple will be rolling out redesigned Intel Powerbooks in February of next year.

Kinda off topic but I just wanted to say I happen to like your name.

Do you plan on changing it or do you still feel it's slow?

I agree with what you say, but didn't SJ say there were more PPC products in the future? We'll see....

Well, I'm almost at 500 posts, so I won't change names :p. But I'll wait to see just how much faster these new IntelMacs are compared to "old-school" PPC macs ;).

I think they would be pretty damn cool, but maybe they have got this rumor twisted a bit i could imagine an iBook form factor change into black rubber as it is durable, doesnt get dirty and if designed well would look amazing!!!

Anyone elese think ibooks would look good in black rubber??

Hmmmmm, a fetish iBook?!?! :D

lol The white shiny easily smudged ibooks are starting to get on my nerves as i find them a bit girly looking, although i think they are great looking!!!
Just bored of the look of them i guess, i think a well designed black iBook which was a twist from the dime a dozen black notebooks we are used to seeing, would look great.....Just hoping the next rev ibook have a form factor change....

part of me wants to doubt this. i can see more PPC machines popping up but not rubber. maybe that carbon fibre stuff that everyone was on about months ago though.
