Photoshop Icon stuck with Generic Application Icon

My Photoshop icon has changed to the generic application icon in both my dock and the Photoshop folder. Have restarted and still the same. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

this has happened to me before...do the basic stuff...

rebuild desktop...reset your pram...

this should do it...jv

select the icon in finder, then press command+I
select the real adobe icon somewhere on your hard drive, if you have one (and that is a big "if")

copy the icon from the info window to the other info window
