I will only vote if they include a picture of a stoned monkey, or Jar Jar Binks...

sad thing is that they're almost all men, and that no one looks at all like her.

I saw a scary thing on Saturday. Driving in Berkeley (or was it SF?... whatever) is bad enough usually, but I think I saw a member of the Ellen Feiss cult. Decked out in the full grey sweatshirt, green shirt outfit, this person was standing on a street corner, alone, talking to no one in particular. Now normally, I would just attribute it to the general insanity of those places (now that I think about it, it was Berkeley, I'm pretty sure... even San Franciscans aren't that crazy), but then they pulled a blonde wig out of a bag, put it on, and did up the hair to be almost exactly like Ellen Feiss. Truly scary. I have a feeling that the motions and words they were (nearly) chanting were the lines from the switch ad.

On a separate but related note, the whole reason I was in Berkeley was for a Quizbowl (arcane and generally useless trivia game/varsity high school sport; aka Collegebowl in some places.) tournament. One of the sets of bonus questions was about... Apple Switch ads! :D Unfortunately, I actually missed one of them. :( The three answers were Tony Hawk (got it) Kelly Slater (the one I missed) and... Ellen Feiss (got that one easily). I really beat myself up over missing the Kelly Slater one for a while... but the funniest thing was the question with Ellen Feiss as the answer: something to the effect of "This switcher, a female student, has been, for some reason, the most effective ad. She is a student who has, since the ad's debut, become nearly a cult icon in certain Mac circles, with websites devoted..." The clue was actually longer than that, but by the word cult, I knew the answer instantly, and didn't hear the end of the question :D.

Just an interesting little anecdote I thought I'd share. :)
