View Full Version : Frames in Dreamweaver and Fireworks

I am very new to Dreamweaver and Fireworks. I have designed a web page in Fireworks with popup menus. Now I need to make a space in the middle of the page for the other html pages to load into. How does one do this? I have spent hours trying to figure it out and have had no success. This might not be the correct web design lingo, but I essentially want a box in the middle of the Fireworks document to the _parent (?). Any help would be great appreciated, as I am very stuck at the present moment.

Frames sounds like the easiest, but frames are outdated and dont' play nice with many browsers.

Frames might not be the best word choice. I'm not sure if that is even what I am looking for. I just need to have some area for the different pages to load. Any idea what I am getting at?
