Help with Scanner...

I've bought today a HP 3570c Scanner and I cant put it to work... I dont know what the hell is wrong with it... Everything is plugged right and it is recognized on Apple System Profiler... Does any of you own one of these? If you do, can you please help troubleshoot it?

I don't own that scanner, in fact I haven't used any HP scanners, but have you searched the HP website to find out whether or not it's compatible with OS X (I assume you're using OS X)? You may need to download new drivers?

Apple System Profiler will recognize any device that's plugged in, whether or not that device is compatible with your operating system, so that won't determine compatibility.
