Well as the title suggests, i have a question about what my mini can and can not burn. Will the Mini burn the 1.4GB dvd-rs? I'm to big a sissy to try and shove one in only to not get it out, and then be up poo creek with no paddle. Can anyone give me a definitive yes or no, or point me a link.

Thanks,
Jared

On the Apple Store site both the 1.25GHz and 1.42GHz models are showing that they ship combo drives, meaning they can only burn CD-R/RW media, not DVD-R/RW media, so initially I would say no.

Secondly, if you are talk about those mini-DVD-Rs (or mini-CD-Rs) like those used in some Sony cameras and digital DVD camcorders, then no, they will not work in the slot-loading drive of the mini or any other Mac (slot-load). I am referring to the small form-factor disks, I believe 8cm OD, as opposed to the normal 12cm OD. (numbers taken from a quick Googling on DVD media diameters)
