Anybody what to part with...

Looking for a single or dual G4 CPU that boots in OS 9.2.2. Would like the fastest CPU that supported OS 9.2.2. My software and games have to boot OS 9, not 'Classic' from within OS X. Upgrades are nice but prefer stock to do own upgrades. Must be operational in OS 9.2.2 at this point, OS X will be installed later on a separate internal HD. Also still a wired guy so keep your wireless hardware and software; I run a 10/100 network and cable internet connection, though a 4-port 10/100 Router.

Hmm. I have the Quicksilver in my signature. I haven't been thinking about selling it, but I guess I could if the offer was good enough. It's a single 933Mhz G4. It runs Tiger great and can boot into 9.2.2. I don't have 9.2.2 though, as I only use Tiger. I think the restore disks have 9.1.X most likely.

Do you have a newer mac that WILL NOT boot into 9.2.2? Maybe we could do some sort of trade or something.

My 5 yr old daughter wants my computer (G3/300 B/W) because most of her software is OS 9.2.2 or older. Plus my son just purchased a eMac (1.25Ghz) and I want something to fit my needs. Have two older 68040 Performa also but not on my network (a 550 and 630CD). Used to have a All-in-One G3/266Mhz from a local school but the power supply blew up and wasn't worth the repair cost stripped and trashed it.

I have a dual 450 I'm selling. I don't have 9.2.2 to install but if you could manage to find discs for it, my machine has 2 hard drives in it.
