Does anyone want to trade for an iMac G4? I either want to trade it or sell it. I have been trying to get rid of it for 2 months now, but no one wants it. It's in perfect condition. 1.0 GHz, 256 Ram, 80 Gig HD, Combo Drive, 15 Inch Screen, Keyboard, Mouse, Speakers, Tiger, all original software.

Okay the iMac is still available. I would like to get my hands on a ibook, powerbook, emac, or an iMac G5. I am willing to put up some cash if needed. Not to interested in the mini b/c i would have to get a monitor, keyboard, mouse, and speakers. That's just to much for me.

I don't want to interfere, but in your defense, a number of 800Mhz iMac G4 / 15" have gone in the $450-550USD range on eBay, and considering that incorporates eBay and PayPal fees, to me, your price isn't completely out of order.
getbigg21, I hope you get a deal that makes you happy, but just as an observation... your computer is near the bare minimum specs of the original generation of iBook G4's, outside of the hard drive size -- my iBook G4 12" is from Dec 03, and while it is 800MHz vs. 1GHz, and has a 40GB hard drive, it has a lot more RAM and AE and BT. *And* it's a portable. Based on closed sales on eBay, etc, a computer like mine is going to be worth approximately $200-250 more than yours (they typically close in the $700-800 range). That may be a part of why you're having trouble with your trade.
Have you considered a computer + cash trade?
I'm not in the market, so again, I apologize for interfering. It just seems that you've been trying to get this trade to happen for a long time, without success, and you seem surprised at your lack of success.
In any event, good luck! :)

I would appreciate if you wouldn't interfere. First off my iMac is a 1.0 GHz model. More than that 800 MHz that your talking about. Second I can get a G3 800Mhz ibook over the internet for 650.00. I don't know where your getting 800 plus for one. If your not in the market why be posting.

Sorry, I was trying to help. And that does clarify -- I don't think it was clear that you were willing to accept *G3* iBooks... (mine is a G4) I have no idea where I got that idea from....
