Rendezvous = Dating Service?

Just thought this new switcher story was pretty funny:

Wireless Liaisons

The first time I really appreciated the wonders of wireless and Rendezvous was at a conference in Munich. I went into a lecture room, flipped open my iBook, and straight away I had a net connection. I opened iChat, and my Rendezvous list just filled itself with people, each with a little photo.

A quick scan down the list found me looking at the photo of a lovely lady, who I could double-click on and start talking to about the conference! I found out what lecture theatre she was in and … well, my laptop PC never got me dinner dates! ;-)

Now, THAT'S a really good reason to switch to Apple! :D

Pretty damn cool, actually - Apple's ahead of the game here with that type of instant connectivity. :)

Hmm.. I wish I could do something like that.. but I don't have a laptop.. and thus no wireless connection.. and I'm the only OS X user on my home network.. so no possibilities!

We'd suggested that about four months ago when jaguar was previewed.

damn germans nicking our stories. We said it'd make a great apple commercial. But not a switch commercial...rather, a more traditional commercial, like one of those visa "priceless" commercials.
