Lego was always my favorite toy when I was growing up, but I never liked the sets and used to build stuff "freestyle". Because of this the sets me (and later my kid brother) got very quickly was "broken up" and added to "the big box of Lego". This box has since been handed over to whoever in the family has kids in the right age, and I, actually, have no idea where it is at the moment... :o
So, collecting is kind of out of the question... ;)

Yep, I used to be a big lego fan/collector. I have big storage crates filled w/ Legos.
Now I tend to collect computer related items.

Same here. It is *officially* the best way to build Lego!

It's interesting how that happens - the move from Lego to computers.

I used to love lego, still do in a way (only 16). Whenever we go round our cousins, the lego comes out and it's a gigantic build!!
I think most of us seemed to add kits to a big box of lego, as 'freebuild' is definately the way to go. How boring is it to be told how to make something!!
Unfortunately I'm not a collector, but would love to be!!
