Anyone know a way to convert ASf files to quicktime or even mpg.

Well I don't know how but I think it whould be awsome if there was a converting app to convert ASF (A Windows Media Palyer type file) to a QuickTime movie or another Mac easy to read fourm.

...there really isn't a way, sorry :( Being the M$ is, well, M$, the /asf is a proprietary format so it's really hard to make a converter for it. You COULD get a prog like SnapzPro X and record the video directly off the screen, but itll take up mass amounts of space (but that can be fixed at least)

cleaner 6 will convert the asf to a mov

Cleaner 6 is pretty high-brow, you could probably find it somewhere, I didn't knwo it could do that :)

I'll have to keep my eyes open for cleaner 6 in my schools mac labs. They are still on cleaner 5 right?
