I have the 64 MB ATI Radeon 9700 in my PowerBook G4 1.67 GHz 15" and it runs every game I've thrown at it fine, games such as World of Warcraft, UT2004 the 128 MB version wouldn't have to swap out the textures as much.
I don't really know what you are asking here but the ATI Radeon 9700 is the best current video card available for the PowerBooks, it's definitely not the best notebook video card in the world but you don't have much choice at the moment. ;)

I have the 128 in my Rev C PB and it can hadle quite a bit. I would recommend spending the extra few $$$ to get the 128 instead of the 64.

I agree. You will not be able to upgrade after purchasing.
Off the topic. It's best to get as much MEMORY (I recommend 1 gig or more) for your PB. That way, you can run multiple applications.

The card in the current PowerBook G4 (ATI Radeon Mobility 9700) is a nice card. Going with the 128MB version is recommended over the 64MB - more RAM = better performance (usually). The 9700 should provide good performance in most games out there today.

Agreed. Going with 1GB of RAM, or more, in your PowerBook G4 should give you a nice boost in performance!
