I have a 512 down 256 up connection. Whenever I upload my download speeds stall. Why? I used to have broadband optimiser installed, but I removed it. Is it my side settings, the dsl modem or my isp? Please help!

2 Questions: 1. Which ISP? 2. Distance from CO?

ISP is Pipex

Distance is around 600 metres

I'd guess the modem, just offhand. Call the ISP and ask them about it though.
