isnt that ADC though and not DVI? youd have to pay 100 for a converter as well. id say the apple 20" is the best, but yeah, its not 17". i think apple should come out with a good 17" monitor, that would be awsome, i mean they already make a 17 imac, so why not just a 17" screen? ive seen samsung monitors that are good, they have a silver look to them, not metal, but they are painted to look metal. i think they look pretty good. and also not wide screen.

I was at best buy a couple of months ago and they had the mini setup with this westinghouse monitor. It looked really good overall it is white & metallic i believe and it has dvi-d inputs. Plus i think they dropped the price $50 bucks since I saw the same monitor a few months ago.

A bit on the pricey side (compared to others) but definitely the 20" or 23" ACD.

Xerox (http://www.xerox-displays.info/xa7series.html) makes stylish, cheap LCDs with low response time and DVI, and a silver foot to match the mini.
An added bonus is the irony of having a Xerox monitor for your Mac, since Apple "stole" the GUI for the first Mac from Xerox... :D

There's always Formac (http://www.formac.com/) that cloned the original ACD look.

Actually... Apple was allowed to tour their R&D, and changed the GUI from the "many text-based inputs" to "modern-GUI."

Those Eyegonomic displays look pretty amazing. I remember reading about them a couple of years ago, but they still have pretty much zero retail presence in the US.
Me, I'm partial to Planar's displays. The silver-bezeled PX-series models are especially nice. I've owned this one for a year and a half: http://www.planar.com/Products/flatpanel_monitors/px_flatpanel/PX191.cfm
