I just got done transferring my school database to a new DP G5 Xserve. It came from a G4 first-generation Xserve. It has 1GB ram and 4 80GB hard drives. I name all my servers after Simpson's characters, and the new one is tentatively named Otto.
What should I do with this server? Help me task it, and win a brand new CD/DVD case with a school logo!
Rules: It's an educational institution folks, not an MP3 storehouse or America's Army Server. The task must match the Simpson's name, so if it ain't Otto-like, suggest one. All the major characters are already taken.
I currently have a QT streamer, web, mail, meeting and calendaring, SIS db "sandbox", forums (using vBulletin, like here!) and various shares. I also use an Open Directory master, a replica, Filemaker.
