Does anyone know if it is possible to upgrade a lousy single 1.8 ghz G5 to a dual processor? Even if I have to rip out good parts, I would be willing to shell the simoleans for the speed. A single 1.8 just doesn't cut it for multimedia work.
thanks

Not without a new motherboard (read not feasible). You'll probably have to sell yours and buy a new one if you need the speed.

A simple answer is no.
BTW - why is that pic attachment relevant to a G5 question

Wow. Bet you a ton of people on this board would love a Single CPU PowerMac. Even if it is a "lousy" 1.8GHz G5.
