Just to let you know, prepare for the ride, the Apple Store is down in the UK. What is coming today? My guess, how about an Airport Express revamp (promo just ended)

Swiss and German stores are also down. To be honest, I've got no idea what's coming. Except for the PowerBooks, Apple has updated all Macs in the last three months.

There is no real rumors for this week, which could mean a pleasant upgrade/new product. Maybe its the Ipod Socks II that didnt get updated last week! Maybe Apple didn't want to ruin the impact on the Socks update announcement by introducing a small upgrade to the ibooks!! (Saying that, the iBook upgrade was good for me and my order will go in next week)

Either it's something new or updated PowerBooks. Or perhaps new iPod minis?

I am almost sure it will be Cram and Jam in Europe - education offer
A few threads have hinted at this already in the last few weeks.
In the UK it's expected to be a bit different to the US version.
It's likely to be a pay in full, fill in a rebate form and get a cheque.
I head £100 cash back on an ipod.

If something is coming, it will only be available in North America and Europe. So it could have something to do with iTunes. What about the iTunes Phone?

Why couldn't Apple sell a mobile phone? You just have to put your SIM chip into the new phone. Although it's not likely they're selling a mobile phone it's not impossible.

I wonder how the 360 scrolling works. Does the knob rotate, move to the side like one of the purple Dell mouse knobs in the middle of the keyboard or if it is touch sensitive, so that you kind of just stroke your finger up and down and around the knob for the desired effect.

It has built-in audio.
Mighty Mouse even sounds as good as it feels. The audio feedback built into Mighty Mouse provides an aural sensation that responds to your movements. A tiny speaker inside Mighty Mouse produces button-clicking and Scroll Ball-rolling sound effects.

I can't believe Apple uses the entire front page of their web site to promote a stupid mouse with features that are just so standard and basic on any mouse and hype it like it's 1999.
Any of you have a 3rd gen iPod with 4 touch sensitive buttons on top. They look good but are just plain annoying to use. Sound is added only to not make it completely useless as the iPod is not responding in the instance you press a button. Without the sound you have no cue if you pressed the button or not. Adding sound to the mouse is just to make an inferior technology (usabilitywise) barely usable.
Mighty Milk
Now in a supermarket near you fresh Migthy Milk contained in a soft white plastic bag. Squeeze it anywhere to spill your milk. Can also be used in Cocoa. Holy cow!

I actually prefer the 3G design to the 4G. The click wheel.. ehh doesn't float my boat.
It doesn't suddenly go off for no reason... I think it's more usable than the 4G.

It is a big deal. Apple have always had a one-button mouse. They are bound to hype it up. Why wouldn't they, even if it does have standard features. They have just introduced a new product.
It may have standard features, but they have been implemented in typcial Apple stylie. Making it unique.
