How many of you guys and gals have ordered a 1GB ram stick for the iBook from Crucial? I waited until the prices dropped and ordered, but now they are saying it is on back-order. :mad: Is anybody else on the boards in line?

Hmmm. Crucial just backordered us on some server RAM until Sept.

DDR prices are going up all around, expected to do so until the end of the year, anyway.

I ordered one the Thursday before last, and got it before my iBook (ordered on Tuesday). I feel your pain though, as I was unable to install the ram for most of the day I got the computer (couldn't find a 00 phillips screwdriver). It made me think that everything was running slow. :)

Anyway, I'm sorry about the backorder, and glad I bought mine before it took effect.
