hey i was going to sell my ipod but while i was posting I was also researching and i realized its not worth it.

just looking for an iskin or something like it for a 4th gen 40gb ipod.

I ended up selling my 40gig ipod 4th gen for next to nothing, so I think you're right to hold onto it. I only sold mine because I already had two others, first gen 10 gig and 4th gen 30gig photo. For some reason people just dont seem to want to buy second hand ipods. I guess its one of those consumer products that people want to buy new

I think it has something to do with iPods getting scratched easily. People don't like to buy items that are scratched.
