Well, not exactly.
I did just upgrade the ram in my new iBook from 512MB to 1.5GB. Noticable difference, and a very worthwhile upgrade for those considering.
A special shout out to CanadaRAM who provided me with the 1GB stick. Reasonable price, and it was delivered to my door less then 24hrs after placing the order.
I've just popped it in, and everything is working fine. Very impressive. Thanks again.

That's not fair - I was expecting white casings and flames!!
Nice RAM bump though.

Isn't there some company that will send you a new product if your old one is defective, and you destroy it spectacularly, send them proof of the killing, then they send you a new one?
I think it's Griffin. I remembre reading about this in regard to an iTrip...

At first I was really expecting to see some flames. But than I lowered my expectations to just smoke. Well, I guess I shall just have to use my imagination.

Stick was like $265 Canadian.
Better prices in the US, but shipping and exchange rate applies. All in all I'm pretty happy with price and service.

I had a Router that was like that, its gone now, but when I bought it, I bought a warranty on it for 2 years that would allow me to kick it, throw it, set it on fire, toss it, etc. and they'd replace it for free - bought it from CompUSA.

Monster Cables has contracts with stores that, even if you cut the cable with a scissor the store has to give you the same one for free.
