Hey guys just got my new iBook today, loving it so far, but of course im having problems withb a few things.

For one how do I get rid of this speech feedback Icon I want to close it all completely, but its either next to my trashcan or in the middle of my screen somewhere I can't get rid of it arghhh..

Otherwise in learning slowly but surely=)

Hey,

Click on "system preferences" under the Apple menu, then click on "speech". You can turn speakable items off in there. Speech recognition is fun but rarely helpful in everyday work...
