SN95G5 Shuttle Chasis (perfect for LANs)
AMD FX-55
1gb DDR PC3200
eVGA 6800GT
200gb HDD (Western Digital I believe)
Audigy 2 ZS
Sony DVD Burner

System has 4 USB port, 1 Firewire, 2 ps/2, 1 ethernet port

It also has another bay for you if you want to add a Floppy or Memory stick reader. I never bothered using it because I dont use floppy discs anymore or memory sticks.

Reason Im thinking about selling is because I need money and Im going to college. When I leave Im taking my PowerBook and Im probably going to leave it at home and its just going to be sitting at home doing nothing

If it does get sold I'll be wiping the HDD completely and install a fresh install of Windows XP Media Center.

Im hoping for about 1k here or more. Why? The CPU alone can get sold on ebay for 600+

Awesome machine!!! I would suspect about $1200 (considering the CPU and the hard drive)

I want people to make me an offer. :)

I will say I am expecting more than 600 since the CPU alone on ebay would sell for that much.

I have a very similarly spec'ed SN95G5 myself (only different CPU, HD, and no audio card), and must say it is very nice. I love taking it to LAN parties, because my computer is 1/3 the size of everyone else's, and can slaughter their computers. :D

I built my comp for $1100, but with the faster CPU, bigger HD and audio card, I think $1100-1200 for this machine would be a good price.

awesome computer!

it isnt but shuttle motherboards are pretty cheap. I think I saw one run for like 30 bucks that had pci-e

Oh Man! I was going to buy it!:( Well, at least almost.

But it being an AGP card, will that slow it down at all? Compared to PCI-Express?

thats anther big misconception..

AGP and PCIe have their differences. PCIe definately does have a HUGE advantage over the AGP that allows higher data transfer than the AGP. HOWEVER, to this date no graphics card has been able to take full advantage of this bandwidth.

Its much like how SATA is a quantum leap for optical drives, however no drive uses such a huge bandwidth. Not even SCSI drives use the amount of bandwidth that is available.

Oh and just an FYI to all those people who are complaining to me about that its AGP and it loses upgradeability...

ATI still doing it AGP style :) (http://www.diamondmm.com/X1800256PCI.php)

Although the X1800 prototype cards arent showing they are beating the 7800GTX, it just takes a few driver and firmware updates and it will be its equivalent.

Whats the CPU speed?
AGP, PCI-E, or PCI?
Is the graphics card supported by Battlefield 2?

Sorry for the questions, but my computer cant be upgraded anymore and I cant play new games.

Physical CPU speed is 2.61 however its performances in games is equivalent to the 4400 X2

Graphics card is AGP

And of course it is supported for BF2. I play it everyday :D
