I have read a bogus comment on amazon stating that this DVD would not work on Apple DVD drive. Can any one confirm that?
I hope not...

Ahh! Good idea... wait a sec, Iīll go get the discs...
...inserting... DVD Player doesnīt launch? ... Launching... WB Logo coming up!
Menu is here! Movie starts!
Seem to work fine, even on my PS2 I watched it yesterday.
Sorry, I was sunken into the movie :p now Iīm back. Just to tell you: It should run fine.
Note: I have a G4/933 with Superdrive.
Ah, I forgot: This is the GERMAN version (RC 2) and I donīt know about the US Version. But it should do just as good.

It isn't true. I watched the first DVD on the making of FotR, on my 867 w/ Superdrive.

What they probably mean is that the dvd-rom content does not work on a mac. I guess if you have Virtual PC, you may be able to install the content on the that, but not watch any dvd video, not sure, don't care.

Usually the DVD-ROM features are something mundane as internet links to official sites, so I don't think we are missing much.

Hey guys, there's a secret scene you might want to watch, it's really funny! On the first disk, go to scene selection and go to the last grouping of scenes. Keep moving the cursor down until you get to "*new scene" If you select that you can see an extreamely funny parody with Jack Black.
Enjoy!
