To night I just took a breake from my already un usual reality.

I'm not using drugs, I'm just playing all the music I really liked when I was a kid. Right now I'm listening a CD calle "Friend of Mr. Cario" by Vangelis.

If I tell you what I have been doing during these days you may not undertand it.

Yesterday I woke up in the morning as usual, I plan all my scatuale, I called all my clients, check daily e-mail and went to a clients looking for a pay check.

From there the day changes the dinamic just a bit. I went to a square in what we would call the upper east side of my city. In that square we have 200 men of the military for about a month. The men (Coronel, generals, etc) are in disagree with the president and they place themselves with a podium and a hudge PA system. They have been giving speaches every day and every nigh and the population spend days and nights in that place taking care of them preventing the goverment of touching them.

Well, 2 block from there we had a riot of young people fighting against the national guard, a bunch of tear gas every where. So, after I got my pay check I went to see the situation. I spend about 3 hours there until everything was more or less over.

Well, to make the story short. I was today at home with a bit of sinosis. I saw on tv the same grpup of people blocking the high way with tires of fire, etc. That was at 8pm. So, I took my keys and went there again. As soon I arrived a poiceman was negotieting with the manifestants but with no results until another group of people (including me) took care of the situation and started to move all the trash from the high way (that palce is 5 minutes from my house). We succed and everything was normal, just about 7 kids taking things to the wrong way.

Now, I came back to my home and trying to relax I locke my self in my studio and play one of those extraordinary CDs like the one I mention before.

To see the situation in my city just vist here (http://www.el-nacional.com/Articulos/Articulo.asp?Plantilla=3&Id=17491&IdSeccion=64) : it is in spanish but you can see some pictures.

So, it is greate when some times I can make a jump back. It is strange to mix a normal labor day with a riot for the last week. This is every day, I'm a bit sick now (the sinus) it may be because the stress but I will have to deal with that.

Yesterday I was at the square jocking with some people about offering turistic deal for forners with "real action Rambo like vacations!". In one corner you could trow botles to the National Guard, if you get tired we could offered you a mitting with some generals of the military or if you want more action we could take you down town where you could shoot real people that other wise would kill you. An entire politically mess extreme vacation. What do you think?

From what I've read Chavez does lean toward socialist ideas, but FYI I don't think violence in the Latin American region has much to do with whether or not the government is communist. Unfortunately almost the entire region has some history of dictatorships, military coups, etc., but except for Cuba these have not been communist dictatorships.

Chavez is the new generation of Fidel Castro's like dictatorship.

In the 90's things have been getting out of control in soth america. It is not like you see in the movies. The only real conflictive country is Colombia and that is on the south of the country. In Nicaragua there are problems too, most of the time in central america.

We have economic problems (in south america) just because of the politicians. Countries that doesn't have solid economic situations are very inestables politically, actually is the other way around.
