so i went to the fair the other day and the local paintball range had a 'fun shoot' set up, so you could just shoot paintballs at targets, so i tried them out, and i thought it was sick, so i'd like to get some stuff, i'm not too interested in actually playing the game so i dont need/want any of the safety stuff, i'm interested in markers (with pics), i'd like them to have sights (not necessarily scopes, but one built on to the barrel or whatever works too, because im going to be doign a lot of target shooting) and anything else you have to offer, thanks a lot

i like the tippmann a-5, i think its great, and its totally customizable, if you look here (http://shopping.netsuite.com/s.nl/c.322764/sc.14/category.72/.f) you can see some great scenario kits for it. you can add a sight and everything, even mod it to be an M4 with grenade launcher (my personal fav :D )

the gun itself isn't that expensive. but having a sight on any marker is fairly rare and could be costly.

another decent marker is the tippman 98 custom

and of course if you just want a marker for the sake of owning a marker you could always go with a brass eagle (http://www.brasseagle.com/redesign/be_home3.asp) but these are considered seriously bottom of the line, made of plastic etc.

i find it kind of odd you dont' want to actually play the game but just want target practise....but to each his own i guess

That was my first thought... if you just want to target practice get a .22 or an airshot gun... A .22 is a real gun, ammo is cheap, and the gun (for the most part) is too. You can enter into marksmanship competitions and whatnot with a .22 as well; it's what olympic shooting events are done with. If you're in the states, you can buy a .22 rifle when you are 18, and a handgun at 21.

Or, if you want something you can shoot in a suburban neighborhood (or are under aged), and just for targets, go for a nice airshot pistol. Highly realistic, accurate at short ranges (I'd guess as accurate as a paintball marker), cheap ($20 will get you a decent gun, a target with a mesh BB catcher, and 200 BBs). The BB's are reusable, and you can get 1000 more for like$6. You can shoot them inside without any problems, and you can buy paintballs for them as well if you want to mark up your friends later on.

All-in-all, from your post, a paintball marker is about as far from what you want to do as you can get.

Man, I had a bunch of this stuff for sale a while ago. I might still have my JT EYEZ mask (graphite/smoke). As far as the guns and stuff though I think it's all been sold. I had a WGP BlackMagic Autoco(ker that was literally Black Magic! I only replaced an O-ring on it, but it worked flawlessly.

If I still have it, would you be interested in the mask. I may also have a Pirhanna marker somewhere too.

Lemme know what kind of stuff you're looking for.

i know you guys are all like WTF? paintball gun for just shoothing stuff, Well i live in VT, you only need to be 17 to buy an assualt weapon(the ban was lifed last year, so that means semi-auto AK-47/M-16s...) and you dont need a long background check, so if i wanted to spend $1k on a gun, i could walk into my local gun shop (and yes, we have a huge one with tons of assault weapons) I could walk out later that day with a machine gun in hand, or a .22 if i wanted, but with a gun like that i cant really 'play' with it, i just wanna go around shooting stuff (retarded i know, but i find it very appealing) with a gun i could seriously kill someone, even with a .22, and even BB guns can **** you up if you get shot in the leg, cause they can break the shin depending on the gun you have. pellet guns(air soft) are stupid, you shoot stuff and it bounces off, not satisfying at all, but with a paint ball it leaves a mark, has a tiny bit of kick, and is fun, i love skeet shooting (spelling?) and i can easly get ~39/40 pidgeons, its not an issue of being a good shot, its about having fun... but i bought a $200 gun on ebay for $40, so im set, i just need a CO2 tank and a hopper
