Question about maintenance

FFrom what I have read it seems that 10.2 runs a few maintenance proggies on the weekend at early times of the morning. Does anyone know how to run them manually, what they are and how to change the times / frequency that they run?

type these in the terminal:

sudo sh /etc/daily
sudo sh /etc/weekly
sudo sh /etc/monthly


or you can download a program called MacJanitor.
