I am holding a contest for the craziest screenshots. Post them here or email them to me at vjv@mac.com. The contest ends on Friday December 14th. The winner will be announced no later than December 16th. The prize is a jaguar poster given out at macworld.

Do they have to be created by the submitter? How will you verify if that's the case? There is an aweful lot of nice work out there - it would be a shame to give it to someone who just downloaded a cool image.

I will verify it by asking them to move an icon, change desktop etc...

I'm sorry, but i just don't get it. :confused:
How do you decide on 'cool'? it's just a screen cap, I really don't get it how you can decide on a 'cool' one...sorry.

well, how do you decide whether anything
is cool? I think it would be like if we had
another avatar contest, but instead of polls
we just had arn pick the top ones. Not my
idea of the fairest, but it has potential to
become interesting.

Ah, I'm talking about the background image being found somewhere online, not the desktop itself - what you said makes no sense.

And as for the Avatar Contest - I'll be starting up the second one in a few weeks, with judging on the first round done with a couple other non-entrants and the final selection being done by polls for each of the catagories, seeing that it worked well on the Switch Ad contest and the fact that I see there being a whole ton of entries this time around.

The contest has closed:( . I've received no entries. I guess everyone already has a jaguar poster... This was really disappointing.
