I've seen alot of other picture threads but no one has done a thread about what kind of car they own with pictures. So post your pics of your awsome wheels!!!!

This should be fun - although I probably will post a pic of my first car, when I get home to dig it up. You should expand it to any car you owned, I'm sure some members had a few 'classics' that they had to get rid of for one reason or another.

D :D

A picture of my previous car, an oil burning car with 90 hp (when the turbo sings).

No need to include a picture of my current ride, since some here probably have taken rides in the back seats of Crown Vics several times - or been pulled over by a similar vehicle with flashy blue/red lights. :p

Here's mine, it's my first ever car and I friggin love it...allthough it does need a wash at the moment :)
Here it is when it had just been cleaned.

There are actually more pics of it on my .mac HomePage (link is in my sig below).

wow, the cooper mini is so cool and yuppies in america are buying them up so fast, they will replace a lot of the SUVs they used to buy exclusively

many SUVs are the most dangerous vehicles to ride since they can easily...i mean easily...roll over

cadillac SUVs, suburbans, first gen hummers, and isuzus are death traps...lexus makes an ok one but too expensive

also a vehicle needs to have some give and crumple so the passenger is not shot thru the windshield or made into human puree because the vehicle was too solid and stiff

old american muscle cars, due to their rigidness in crashes, killed a lot of people

the safest cars are prolly volvos and mercedes sedans because of their crumple ability and shock absorbant features

the most difficult car accident to survive is a rollover

i worked in a hospital for three years and rollever accidents are not pretty...people do not simply walk away from one and seatbelts and airbags do little to help

one needs a nascar rollbar to survive or walk away from any rollover over 35 mph

i have a very old tan volvo station wagon and it is not pretty so i won't post a picture...for it's time it was considered very safe, but this car is pre air bags

I can't drive (yet) I'm in the middle of drivers ed and as soon as i pass my tests my dad is going to let me drive his 1987 Volvo 240DL. I will post a pic as soon as I can but it may sound sad but I really want to drive that car. Stick shift with working AC and heat with 280,000 miles:)

Our families other car is a 2000 Honda Odyssey. Its the sweetest van with automatic sliding doors;)

Damn, I can drive but I don't have a car yet (need job) but I'm hoping to get a Porsche 944 when I get the money.
Insurance actually isn't any higher for me compared to a family sedan of about the same year so either an 80's family sedan for $3500 or an 80's Porsche for $3500.

Decisions, decisions...........

not sure :D, just went to google.com and typed in 'green
voltswagon' in the pictures thingy. I did that with all the pictures
but I kept all colors and models the same. SO those really are
my families cars, just not our exact cars.

Now you say you share a car.. but I thought you were like 15. Can you even legally drive by yourself?

springscansing

Bought it used.. 1995 Volvo 850, white. Not my actual car.. I am sunroofless and have ****tier wheelcovers, but otherwise it's the same.

I bought it because safety is cool! Screw that "fun" stuff.

Heh, it's actually still pretty zippy...

Also, my car has wipers on the headlights... hmm... straaaange. Oh yeah, and no sunroof.

Ok I know this is a lame pic.... I had to go to Nissan website to "design my own" ....and use it ....but it's a good representation of my Black SC/Frontier Crew Cab 4x4:D

P.S. Also have a completely restored 1980 Jeep CJ7 i'm about to sell :(

This pic has 3 of my family's cars in it...

The truck is a 1991 Toyota 4x4, 4 cylinder, 5 speed manual transmission pickup with 150000 miles on it (those toyotas run forever!) The only thing is that it's in the shop right now, because it didn't want to shift into 1st or reverse sometimes...

The silver car behind that is my 1998 Ford Escort. It's not flashy, cool, or fast, but it gets me where I need to go.

I usually drive the truck, unless my dad needs it, and then I take the escort.

The white thing behind it is a 2001 Suburban with a 5.4 liter Vortec V-8. My dad mainly uses this. We also use it on vacations because we can carry more stuff, and haul a trailer if we have to.

These are 3 of my cars... My mom drives a char-gold Eagle Vision (think of a dodge intrepid) It's kinda a POS... It's been falling apart, and the engine clunks whenever you slow down, but it's pretty fast when you need it to be...

oh yeah, and my dad has another car - a jeep that is ugly as hell
and broke about a year ago. It was a worthless piece of crap
b4 my dad's friend crashed it though......

Nice Jag.

Sort of sucks about the SUVs, the roofs of those vehicles cannot really hold up the weight of the vehicle.

Nice pups too!

It's a French car that I've been obsessing about since I first saw it.
They only made a few of them and even fewer were exported to the US.
One in very good condition will go for over $20 grand, but I've seen some in pretty good condition for about $5,000.

If anybody sees one for sale, just drop me a line, when I have the ca$h that is. http://img.ranchoweb.com/images/veronica/winky.gif

Before my Volkswagen Golf, I had a secondhand Citroen BX. The looks were not all that, but no car can beat the suspension on that thing. ;) Taking those speedbumps at 50 km/hour without noticing them is just great.

That VW would hit his nose real hard when I would try that ;)

There's this one at e-bay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1873636270

The only thing is that it has an automatic transmission. It seems to be in great shape.

ok, now this one takes a little imagination... imagine this blue, with most of the paint on the roof and hood peeled off, with large rust spots. Now this van is called the "Battle Van" due to it looking like it has gone through at least a few wars. its only good point is the white apple sticker on the back that i got with my imac.

I don't own a car and haven't for several years. I refuse to pay the exorbitant rates that they charge for an unwed male under 30.

So here is my current bike. I'll post a picture of my bike when I can get a good pic of it.

takes me about 5 minutes to walk to the lab, 15 minutes to walk to the grocery store, 10 minutes to walk to the laundramat. basically everything is nearby. bus transport is free. and i have to fly to get to see family or anything, so why do i need a car?

perhaps when i move i will need one, but for the past few years ive been happy without.
