Dudes,
this is a fantastic game. I first got SoF II and within minutes found it very boring. I realized I had made a mistake and got Ghost Recon - wow, so cool at least for me, just my type of game. However, while performance is satisfactory, if I set the graphics at various high level it gets or can get in certain environment (like inside a house) pretty slow. I am using a dual 867. My question is, does anyone know whether this game is multiprocessor aware ?

thx ,
gio

I'm running a dual 867 nividi geforce4mx with maxed settings at 1024x768 on Jaguar and it runs fine, even better on OS 9. Maybe you should crank down the res a little?

hmmm, strange. I guess we have identical computers, and I have so far good results running with a few settings set to medium/low, res at 800x600 (32bits), no dead bodies. If I run at the higher res, playability becomes poor in messy environments. May be I should try and run under OS9. I will keep trying. I still love the game !

Maybe you should try getting more RAM... how much do you have now?

RAM I guess I have enough (1.25g). I have tried the game in OS9, all settings maxed and it worked perfectly. Under Jaguar, same settings, it is actually ok. Could it be that it performs better, under Jaguar, with max settings ? I don't know, but when I played last night it was ok, even though I was never inside a house which is where I had noticed huge slowdowns originally.
