i love the 'play count' feature in iTunes. it surprises me to see what songs i listen to the most (or that random play chooses for me).

so what are your top 3 songs?

mine are:

1. She Says It's Alright / The Rentals
2. Just Waiting / The Fall
3. Stoney Curtis In Reverse / Oranger

I can't wait to see what everybody says...

My Jackson Five CD is still pristine thanks to iTunes, in at number one...
(1) 130 plays of "Can you feel it" (what an admission  )

I enjoy listening to Art Bell sometimes, but not Barbara Simpson, so at no. 2...
(2) a Radio Station

And my number three spot is occupied by a local radio broadcast...so no 3...
(3) also a Radio Station...

I don't know how much I still groove with J5, but there was a while there, I could definitely feel it! Thanks for reminding me about just how powerful and much fun iTunes can be!

Hmm, I'm suprised these are in the top three, I haven't listened to them in quite a while...

1) Castles in the Sky by Ian Van Dahl

2) Days Go By by Dirty Vegas

3) ********* Windoze 98
(it's a one second track with a guy saying "********* Windoze 98!)... I once played it over and over and over for like 2 minutes, and I guess it's stuck up there ever since...

Right now I'm listening to... 'I Am A Man Of Constant Sorrow' by the Soggy Bottom Boys from the movie O Brother Where Art Thou.. just watched it this weekend and I said 'I GOTTA GET THE MUSIC!!!'

Actually, there was a similar "Top 10" thread a while back, but only someone with a severe addiction to certain bands would have the same responses. :D

(1) Almost Unreal by Roxette. Super Mario Bros. 35 plays.

(2) Poem by Taproot. 33 plays.

(3) When I'm Gone by 3 Doors Down. 31 plays. Actually, I like that song a little more than Almost Unreal, as it's a '0x song, rather than 80's or 90's. :p

My playcount is a bit biased because I would set it to an album, start playing it and I walk away - that way I got 50-some counts on songs I don't like THAT much, so bypassing those:

You know you're right- NIRVANA (45)
Where are you going? - DMB (42)
I am Mine - Pearl Jam (40)

Nope..... didn't even realise there was one.... I'm not a huge Verve follower, but I totally dig Rae and Christian and the way they remix other artists (like Texas, don't particularly like Texas, but their remix of 'The Hush' totally rules!!) same goes for Thievery, so when I'm next in HMV I'll hunt that down!!

You so gotta do it. We'll also party you down to a slip of your former self.

hehe.

Right now, i rebuilt my itunes library and unfortunately, it lost my play counts. Which is lame. So currently, there's like, 50 thievery songs as my top.

1. Who Needs Forever? 22 Thievery Corporation
2. The Outernationalist 12 Thievery Corporation
3. Un Simple Histoire (A Simple History) 10 Thievery Corporation

Well, my play counts have been reset countless times, so they are a little wierd, but...

1.) U2 - Mothers of the Disappeared
2.) Clancy Brothers with Tommy Makem - The Parting Glass
George Winston - Variations on the Kanon by Pachelbel
Louis Armstrong & Duke Ellington - Do Nothin' Till You Hear from Me
Beatles - Day in the Life

Weird top plays for me -

1) XTC.com internet radio (160kps)
2) U2 - A Room At The Heartbreak Hotel
3) B-52's - Love Shack

I like U2, but that is not one of my favorites, and Love Shack is good, but not deserving of #3, very weird.

I didn't realize that I had such bizzare taste im music until I looked at my list. Excluding my "personal" music, My top 3:

#1 - Kentucky Rain - Elvis
#2 - What Becomes of the Broken hearted - Jimmy Ruffin
#3 - Run To Me - Bee Gees

If I didn't know better, I'd say I had bad taste on music...

Hmm...

under pressure is # 1 because of the Adaptation trailer (http://www.apple.com/trailers/columbia/adaptation/) I played that song repeatedly for the next week
