WTB - DVForge MicFlex or.... ?

I was all set to order a MicFlex by DVForge (http://www.dvforge.com/products.shtml) today, after contemplating it for about a week. Then, as I was researching it, I ran across articles onJack Campbell (http://www.macintouch.com/mactable.html).

Is DVForge his? A few whois lookups didn't reveal too much to me. Has anyone ordered a MicFlex and found it to be a good product?

Or, Can anyone suggest a portable USB Microphone for voice recording (I remember seeing an XLR Mic converted to USB recently, specifically for podcasting, but can't find it anywhere).
