found this article on running a copy of a mac operating system on a psp.

now all we need is someone to do pear pc emulator that will run on the x86 emulator and then before you know it we'll have tiger on it :p ;) wonder how many days that would take to boot up

That's pretty cool! But we don't need a PPC emulator for Tiger anymore! x86 pure!:D

its real, only it takes 4 hours to boot up. and its only OS7 so its nothing to get excited over really. if it was OSX then i might blink an eyelid.

4 hours boot up. hmmm...

That looks like OS8, but 4 hours is to long.

Hmmm...interesting. I must show the one person I know who purchased a PSP about this.

Did they do all that well? Didn't look like they sold that much around where I'm at.

PSPs are doing fine... the emulator is free.

If the ever actually got something like this to work, then I would get excited.
I do not get excited about a four-hour boot-up for nothing.

HE was just doing it as a proof of concept, and besides the reason it's so slow is beacuse it needs to emulators to run

No, its OS 7.5 You can tell by the status bar and the happy face, this is a cool hack I have seen Windows 98 running on a PSP also but this beats the pants off it.
