lag in Battlefield 1942

I was wondering, does anyone else here have a huge problem with lag in BF 1942? Almost every game I join lags. Only a select few servers are free of this problem, and even sometimes they get lag. Now sure, all online games lag sometimes. But BF 1942 lags constantly. So much I'm on the verge of selling what I know could be a great game on ebay. I'm running on a cable connection, with system specs in my sig.

Your system specs could be the culprit, modern games need more then 32mb video and more the a 933 G4. Sorry but take that and add internet lag and what you have wont be pretty.

Heh, probaly. I might get PC for gaming soon anyway. Might just buy it for PC.

"Dont Hurt Me" is correct your specs must be the culprit. I experienced the same lag on a G4 800, 768 MB RAM and Radeon 8500 64mb, nearly identical machines lesser CPU greater GPU. This lag disappeared on a dual 2.0 G5, 2.5 GB RAM and GeForce 5200.

Which leads me to another question. How come Call of Duty, a 2 year old game, runs near perfect on my machine, yet BF 1942, a 4 year old game, runs like crap?
