I just got this game and I'm really enjoying it. One of the best parts of the game has to be the multiplayer aspect. It does lack a little in single player, but it more then makes up for that with the multiplayer.

Also, is anyone currently using the public beta? I just registered with macplay to get an updater, but I'm kind of skeptical about installing it.

I played SOF II for PC a lot of time ago... I remember it was a bit boring then the first part... and lots of other shooters. Frankly speaking, single-player was not good. Yes, there are some "mini-games" with cars, helicopters and all that stuff, but nothing is revolutionary. Boring, boring, boring.

I agree. The single player mode is not very fun, but the multiplayer is a blast. My main buying point for this game was for the multiplayer aspect.
